I do care about whether the Essential has the Avago 3988 sensor that I heard a lot of good things about.A subreddit for discussion of RΛZΞR brand gaming products. What are the differences between the Essential and other variants of the Deathadder 2013? I know that the Chroma has RGB lighting but I don't care about it. Are these problems common with the Deathadder 2013 or is it no more prone to malfunctions than most other gaming mice? Which of these two statements is correct and will I have to use one of the unofficial Linux drivers to be able to set a low DPI on Ubuntu?

RAZER DEATHADDER 2013 ESSENTIAL ERGONOMIC SOFTWARE

I've read contradictory statements about the onboard memory on the Deathadder 2013 with some people claiming you can set the DPI settings using the Razer Synapse software on Windows and it will store these settings on the onbaord memory and use them on other computers/operating systems while other sources state that this mouse doesn't have any onboard memory. I know that the Deathadder will work on Linux since it is a plug-and-play mouse however because it doesn't have a DPI switch I am concerned about what DPI it's going to default to on Ubuntu. While I game on Windows I do most other tasks on Linux (Ubuntu 17.04 to be precise). I am looking to buy a new mouse and I am considering getting the Deathadder 2013 Essential since I heard a lot of good things about its sensor, size (I have large hands) and ergonomics, however there are a few details that aren't fully clear and I would appreciate it if those of you who have/had this mouse can comment on them: You can do so by simply clicking flair under your link!
